Ingredients

For Marination

  • Chicken Breast – 200 grams – (cut into thin strips)
  • 1 tbsp Kashmiri chili powder (or) Chili paste
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • Finely chopped garlic
  • Salt

Other Main ingredients

  • Corn flour – 2 tbsp
  • Maida (APF)- 2 tbsp
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Samosa sheets – Cut into thin strips
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Curry leaves – Garnish

Method :

Step 1 : To the thin chicken strips add the ingredients mentioned under for “To marinate” and leave it for 15 mins.,

Step 2 : After 15 mins., coat the marinated chicken strips with corn flour, maida and 2 tbsp water combine well. Check for seasoning.

Step 3: Place the chicken strips on the thinly cut samosa sheets and cover it over all.

Step 4: Heat up oil for deep frying, Keep the flame on medium low fry the strips and cook until they turn golden brown , crisp and till the chicken is well cooked. Since its thinly cut chicken strips it cooks faster max of 3 mins., on medium low is more than sufficient. DO NOT INCREASE THE FLAME AS IT WILL GET BURNT IF THE TEMPERATURE IS HIGH.

Serve it HOT with spicy garlic sauce and garnish it with fried curry leaves.
