Mango Ice cream

An absolutely rich , tasty and a delightful recipe I am sure that all mango lovers will thoroughly enjoy this and especially when homemade makes it even more special . A very quick recipe with minimal ingredients and minimal steps with great taste.

Quantity -250 ml.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup or 3/4 cup of Mango Puree (I used Alphonso mango – the best for making creamy ice creams)
  • 150 grams of whipping cream ( dairy or non dairy both are perfect)
  • 1 tsp of Vanilla essence
  • 2 tbsp of Icing sugar (optional- check step 1)
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup condensed milk (depending on your sweetness)

Method

Step 1 : Whip up the whipping cream to soft peaks . (If you are using dairy whipping cream then add 2 tbsp of icing sugar so that you get soft peaks. For a Non dairy whipping cream you can avoid icing sugar )

Step 2: Add condensed milk (as desired) do not add excess as we will retain the natural sweetness of the mango. Then add the mango puree, vanilla essence (to enhance the flavor) and gently just hand mix them until all the ingredients are well combined.

Step 3: Take a airtight container and add the mixture freeze it for min 8-12 hours or leave it overnight. Scoop and enjoy
